Parrot in the lobby of the Hyatt Grand Cypress Hotel in Orlando
This parrot spends his days in the lobby of a hotel. Actually there were three of them and they each had their own spot. They each had a beautiful brass ring as their “home”, complete with water and food receptacles, a wooden perch and colorful wooden blocks suspended on ropes. . . I guess that’s their toys. I thought it was amazing because the birds are not chained to their spots. They stay there and climb on the brass rings and wooden blocks like it’s a jungle-gym. . . remember those? And they use their beak as an extra hand (or should I say foot). This guy was the more animated of the parrots so he got more of my camera time.

Goodness… I haven’t been checking your xanga and missed three entries. Glad you are back home, and I hope you are feeling okay… are you?
This is a very pretty parrot.
There is a hotel in Rehoboth Beach Delaware that has a number of cool parrots. Always fun to see them every year.
Beautiful bird. It is amazing that they don’t need restraints. Glad you feel well enough to post1 :heartbeat:Mom
Wow! That is a great shot! :goodjob: Did you zoom in or were you able to get that close?
I got about 5 or 6 feet away from him and took a high resolution picture so I could then zoom in later on the computer.
