Road to Bull Shoals Lake in Arkansas
Shame on me! I was so busy today that I didn’t take the time to get a picture of some of the georgous colors that have now shown up in the trees here in Texas. It seems like it happened over night. When I went to work on Thursday, I noticed all kinds of color that I hadn’t noticed just the day before. I got a lot done on my “to do” list today, but since I didn’t take the camera with me, I’ll have to use this picture from last year’s Arkansas “sister trip” to illustrate the colorful fall leaves. Maybe tomorrow I’ll get out with my camera.

Nice picture.
Yes, it is finished here in the very Northwestern part of Virginia…. done and done. I can see the neighbors through the woods in front… can see the deer in the woods across the street.
better hurry…
We are almost done with leaves here in Kansas. All that are left are the ones on our neighbor’s trees. They’ll be in our yard within a week. (Note to self: next time, buy a house on the WEST side of the street. Fewer leaves to rake, since they’ll blow into the yard across the street!!)
We have a lot of color here still, but I sure am getting tired of rain. I haven’t seen the sun for more than a few minutes in over a week. :sunny:
:goodjob:Raining here today. I keep watching the neighbor’s ash waiting for the yellow but it is just starting. Mostly brown and down around my house. My tallow is just starting some red.
We have had an unsual Fall. It has kind of come in sections. The Maples turned early and then we had all this rain and now the Oaks and Bradford Pears are in full color. I have wanted to get out and get some new pictures but the weather won’t cooperate! It has been raining for days! I’m like Alice……I’m tired of it.
