Puerto Vallarta - Courtyard at Hotel Photo and enhancement by Chris Duffy
I don’t believe I’ve posted this picture in a long long time. I just love it. I took it at a hotel in Puerto Vallarta where we went with some very good friends who have this time share thing. They invited us to join them several years ago and we had a ball. We laugh so much when we’re with them. They’re coming to visit the latter part of October and we’re looking forward to it. We do several things when we’re with Barney and Mary . . . we eat, we play Pinnocle, we laugh and we SHOP. You’d think Seattle didn’t have shops. They buy and ship and buy and ship. It is impossible to keep up with them in the shopping department. We tried for a couple years, but then we got wise. Let them buy all they want . . . doesn’t mean WE have to spend each time they do.
THOUGHT OF THE DAY: One of life’s great mysteries is how a 2 pound box of chocolate can make a woman gain 5 pounds.

I love the patio work under the barrow of flowers. All together it does make for a super photo. I see so many thing when I am out that would make such great photos. It is always irksome when you see them but are flying by in the car. The old roads were a better choice for a photographer. At least you could pull over and do the photo shoots but on the highway, no such luxury.
Your previous Arkansas photo the bluff with the overlook, great stuff.
That patio work is beautiful. Can you imagine the work?
Nice
You’ve probably answered this on here somewhere before, but do you photograph professionally, and do you just have your camera with you at all times, waiting for those Kodak moments? Cuz you sure seem to find a lot of them! :goodjob:
To answer MD64 . . . My goodness, No. I’m not a professional photographer. . . but thanks for the compliment. I may have exagerated a little bit when I said I always have my camera with me. I have it when ever we travel for business or pleasure, whenever I go to visit my sister and obviously on ALL vacations. I even take it to work with me sometimes when I think there might be an opportunity for a good shot . . . like fog or something like that.
My father was an amateur photographer and I guess Alice and I got the bug from him, although I didn’t realize it until I was grown and married. It sure is a lot nicer now that I have a digital camera . . . I save a fortune on film.
Your Father would be very proud of you, as I am. :fun: :fun:
You and Alice got more than the bug from your Dad….you got talent!! Does that mean that a 5 lb. box of chocolates will make you gain over 10? But then…….”with a box of chocolates, you never know what you’ll get” Forrest Gump
I love that shot too. Wouldn’t Daddy have had fun if he lived in the day of digital cameras and computers?
That is a beautiful picture. I like the brick-work and the cart of flowers is so pretty. :goodjob:
Great picture. Me and my bank account can tell you that Seattle has plenty of shops.
